An Interview with the Antichrist

In the interest of calling upon saints with an ear to hear, we at the Philadelphia Faith submit for your consideration an imaginary interview with “the son of perdition” or the Antichrist. It is not the author’s intention to in any way glorify the antichrist spirit; on the contrary, we believe God wants the spirit of antichrist to be exposed so that the hearts of men will not be deceived. The following is based on prophetic descriptions of the Antichrist found in the Scriptures. We pray that this attempt to present a reflection of the Antichrist’s personal character will enlighten our readers, so that they can be aware of the charming but crafty and evil devices of this spirit which is already at work in the world today.
Now imagine if you will, that say someone like Larry King, but for purposes of this writing, we will call Gerry, has invited this man to his show. The following is the resulting interview by our host and this man, “the son of perdition”. Since we do not have a name, we will call our guest Mr. X, and now to our interview.
Gerry: Today we welcome a very special guest. Many of you may not be acquainted with this man, but I project in the very near future, every household in the world will be talking about him. I extend a very special welcome to Mr. X.
Mr. X: Thank you Gerry, and let me say that I really appreciate you having me here to speak to you and your audience because what I say is of the upmost importance to the world. And, because I am a huge fan of your show and that I understand that you have a huge viewing audience, I selected this time and place to introduce myself. By the way, you are an extremely handsome host, and you look to be extremely fit and youthful.
Q: Mr. X just who are you and where do you come from?
A: I am a man who comes from a very ordinary background, I had a normal childhood and I want the kinds of things that most men want. In nearly every way, I am just like every man with one difference; Like most men, I desire to bring peace and unity to the world above all else but I have a vision that includes a sure plan that would make it possible to restore the earth to peace and ultimately paradise.
Q: Mr. X how can you be so confident you will succeed when there are those who believe that this cannot happen under the rule of any man?
A: My plan can and will succeed in spite of any naysayers, especially those cynics who believe we are at the end of the world.
Q: What is the driving force in your life?
A: To bring unconditional love into the world and a new level of compassion to all those who feel forsaken. Mankind is a beautiful thing and we just need to tap into that inherent beauty and pool our resources to make the world the place it should be. If men will just get together in unity under my leadership, and with those who share my vision, we can build a better and even a perfect world.
Q: What is the message you are here to deliver to mankind?
A: I say to the world that I have a plan for worldwide peace and reconciliation. I have come forward to save mankind from himself before it is too late and this planet is destroyed from pollution, global warming, or by a nuclear holocaust and before all of our natural resources are exhausted. I want to see all men and women of every walk of life and every race have access to the same rights and liberties spoken of in your own Constitution. However, we need to make drastic changes to the current world governments to be able to offer this to humankind.
Q: How do you propose to accomplish this?
A: Very soon I will step forward with my plan. I suspect that the world will be ready to embrace my plan. The world is desperate for leadership, the kind of leadership I have to offer. I will persuade all the world leaders to subscribe to my plan, and they will if they are wise. There will only be benefits to accepting my global vision. Those who don’t will face intense pressure through economic sanctions or other exclusions on the world market.
Q: It is very difficult to get all of these world leaders to even sit down at the same table, let alone all agree to a singular world plan or system.
A: The means of persuasion will be to convince the leaders that there will only be benefits for accepting this plan. The leaders of these nations will be able to see that the present democratic systems are ineffective and inefficient. These systems have had a polarizing effect on the world by partisanship and the masses have no confidence in the current systems of government. A single humane system that promises equality for all could be very appealing to the populace at large. For example; the nations of the world will need to disclose their assets to me and others who support this plan to be able to trade on the world market. Should a country, like the United States for example, refuse to submit to the plan, they will no longer be able to purchase oil or other commodities on the world market. This sanction could cripple a world power and therefore make them see the reason in such a plan. This plan will also prohibit countries from manufacturing nuclear weapons or other insidious weaponry to be used against their neighbors around the world. The promise of removing the threat of nuclear war should have broad appeal around the world.
Q: How do you propose to impose this system on a powerful country like the United States?
A: We already see the means in the current global economy. Right now, the United States is totally dependent on other nations to lend them money to keep the country operational. If the U.S. refuses to adhere to the new world system, the stream of money could be cut off, thereby bringing the nation to a standstill because it cannot borrow any more money to sustain its operation.
Q: When are you going to offer this plan for implementation to the world leaders?
A: When I believe that the leaders of the world are ready to listen. I see the world moving to a place that it is so unstable that men’s hearts are failing them for fear. This will indicate to me that the world is ready to listen to reason and adopt my system.
Mr. X: One key component that I will insist upon, to provide stability for the whole world is recognition of Israel as a sovereign nation. They have distinguished themselves as a powerful nation of scholars and talented artisans and craftsmen that this world needs to look to for real leadership. They are unparalleled in security methods and have a well disciplined military system that is the envy of many nations. I have been to Israel several times to establish contacts with their leaders and we understand one another and the importance of having this key point in any implementation of my plan. Very soon we will announce our agreement to the world and what it will mean for every person on this earth.
Q: When do you think you will emerge as a world leader?
A: Very soon, keep your eye on Israel.
Q: Going in a different direction, what do you think that the man Jesus and his followers would have to say about you?
A: I wouldn’t put too much stock into what Jesus might have to say about me. He was a good man and he had some wonderful principles about loving your brother and others, but he like Buddha and Mohammed before and after him are gone now, and most of what he said is not relevant today. In fact, those “do-gooder” followers of Jesus might accuse me of being evil and doing Satan’s bidding but I contend that they are irrelevant to the intelligent, well informed people of today.
Q: Since you brought it up, do you have any connection with Satan?
A: Satan is a myth, the subject of folklore. Conversely, I am real, alive and in the flesh and I therefore have no connection to Satan or the forces of evil.
Q: How do you view the future of the world, with your plan in place?
A: My earnest desire is to see a world where children and senior citizens can walk down the street and not fear for their safety. I hope to see a world where people are taken care of and are no longer displaced homeless wanderers, a world where people do not go hungry and die of starvation or disease. My plan is to save mankind from themselves. To some, the implementation may seem harsh in the beginning but in the end the world will come to admire me for ending their strife.
Q: Do you see that your plan may be in conflict with “God’s plan of the Ages”?
A: I was not aware that God had any plan. If he does he has kept it a secret from men for as far back in history as I can see.
Q: Where shall men turn to for hope, if God does not have a plan for them in the future?
A: At the risk of sounding immodest, I suspect that the only hope for men now and in the future is in me and in implementing my plan.
Q: What do you say to those who have made Jesus Christ their Savior and look to him to save the world from eminent destruction?
A: Some people cannot face reality. If you insist on belief in a man who died more than 2000 years ago then you believe in fables and I feel sorry for you. There is no room in this world for dreamers and people that live out their fantasies. If you want someone who can really do some good in your life and the lives of others, then look to me for answers. If you really want a happy ending to the story and not dashed hopes then don’t waste your time with Jesus and the Bible. Look to me, I am real and in the flesh and ready to take the world in my arms as a parent would a child. So I urge all to come to me and trust me to provide what the world needs most.
